Service

BrowserNotes is provided as a free static web application at browsernotes.app. The app runs in your browser and stores your content locally on your device.

Your content

You are responsible for your notes and for keeping backups via Export if you need them. Because content is stored only on your device, clearing browser data or using another device will not show the same notes unless you import them.

Availability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the project evolves.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site infrastructure (for example, attempting to disrupt hosting). The editor itself has no server-side note processing.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrowserNotes is not liable for data loss on your device, browser quirks, or third-party services you choose to use (such as donation platforms or ads).
